With so many options for higher education, why should you choose Carolina College of Biblical Studies? We’re glad you asked! Since 1973, students from around the country and different parts of the world have been coming to our campus to learn in a unique, Christ-centered academic environment and to discover God’s call on their lives. Our graduates are spread across the world using their CCBS training to make a positive difference. And you can, too!

Whether you are interested in vocational ministry, Christian leadership, or you simply want to start your college journey in a Christ-focused environment, we promise to do our part to make sure you are equipped to make an impact when you walk across the graduation stage.

So, why choose CCBS?

We’ll give you six great reasons and then look forward to helping you discover the rest!

Part of the CCBS mission is to provide a top-tier academic experience that is carried out with a biblical worldview. Whether you are taking general studies courses or those dealing with spiritual formation, you will be instructed by faculty who incorporate faith, Scripture, prayer, and Christian principles into the curriculum and classroom experience.

With the national average of tuition on the rise, CCBS offers a way for students to achieve their goals for higher education at a much more affordable rate.

Many of our students are busy working full-time jobs, serving in the military, or leading in the local church. Which is why we pride ourselves on being one of the most flexible Christian colleges in North Carolina because, at CCBS, each of them can still maintain a full-course load. Our classes meet one day per week. Unlike traditional colleges where each class meets multiple days a week, our courses meet once. In fact, you can take four courses in a single day…limiting time away from your job or church.

Located in the heart of Fayetteville, NC, CCBS is seated in a prime location for commuting students. The campus is easily accessible from all directions…including Fort Bragg. Campus students enjoy easy access to stores, restaurants, and cultural experiences, as well as a variety of churches, all within a small radius. And those students who wish to take on part-time work while attending CCBS can choose from a large number of area businesses.

Over the years, CCBS has earned a reputation for turning out exceptional graduates from the ministry degree programs. From pastors to non-profit leaders to missionaries to authors, CCBS produces some of the finest ministry leaders in the area. And best of all, most of our Faculty serve locally in the church as well as teach. So you have the opportunity to learn from leaders who are currently in ministry too.

CCBS offers a number of education options for working adults and students. With our online degree programs, adults can earn an A.A. or B.A. from any location. We also have a number of evening programs available to those in Fayetteville/Fort Bragg and surrounding areas.
